Our sustainable hats and gloves collection features hand-knitted accessories crafted by the Hill Women's cooperative in the Himalayan region of Northern India. Each piece demonstrates traditional knitting expertise whilst supporting women's economic empowerment through sustainable employment opportunities.

Currently available is the Potager's Hat in Rustic Mocha, showcasing the hand-knitting expertise of our mountain artisan partners. This carefully constructed piece demonstrates the quality standards and attention to detail characteristic of the Hill Women's cooperative, where over 700 women create accessories whilst maintaining family responsibilities and traditional craft skills.

We focus on measured, sustainable production methods that prioritise quality over quantity. By maintaining traditional hand-knitting techniques, we preserve cultural craft skills whilst creating accessories that demonstrate authentic artisan expertise.

 Our Philosophy

We aspire to a slower, more conscious way of life – and this permeates everything we do. By celebrating the art of hand block printing, we encourage the consumer to slow down, reflect and appreciate the tell-tale signs of the human hand at work.

Due to the nature of the dyes and the hand printing, each garment is unique and special; no two items are ever the same. We hope that our contemplative and thoughtful approach to making clothes generates a sense of emotional attachment to each item, creating sustainable relationships between the clothes we buy and how we take care of them.

Put simply, we believe that when we own something that is special, we tend to love it more. When we love what we own, we are more likely to take better care of it.
