Our Philosophy

We aspire to a slower, more conscious way of life – and this permeates everything we do. By celebrating the art of hand block printing, we encourage the consumer to slow down, reflect and appreciate the tell-tale signs of the human hand at work.

Due to the nature of the dyes and the hand printing, each garment is unique and special; no two items are ever the same. We hope that our contemplative and thoughtful approach to making clothes generates a sense of emotional attachment to each item, creating sustainable relationships between the clothes we buy and how we take care of them.

Put simply, we believe that when we own something that is special, we tend to love it more. When we love what we own, we are more likely to take better care of it.
